The Women's Auxiliary will assist the Salvation Army by promoting projects that supply basic human necessities to individuals regardless of race, color, creed, sex or age.
Our Purpose:
The Salvation Army is a unique international religious and charitable movement, ministering to the spiritual needs of people in more than one hundred countries of the world. The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary (SAWA) supports The Salvation Army by planning, organizing and staffing fund-raisers and projects. |

We are a group of women from El Paso County who have joined together to raise money for Salvation Army projects and programs. Annual fundraising events include:

We meet once per month for a luncheon and business meeting on the 4th Thursday of each month at noon. The cost is $4.50 and guests are always welcome! (There are no meetings in June or July.) Please click here for a SAWA registration form and info packet. |

THE MISSION STATEMENT OF THE SALVATION ARMY
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God.
Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 to help the poor, the homeless, the hungry and those in need or in crisis. The organization arrived in El Paso County in 1889
and remains
committed to “Do the Most Good” with the community’s contributions of money, time and resources.
All donations remain in El Paso County to fund local assistance services and are 100% tax deductible.
