Transitional Housing
The Salvation Army offers transitional housing programs for families and individuals which aid in the transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. They provide a stimulating and safe refuge for people to evaluate their lives after times of crisis. In a loving and supportive environment, they are given the tools and encouragement to get back on their feet and lead productive and fulfilling lives.
The focus of our program is empowerment through education and training leading to employment and independent housing. Clients are guided to the best course of action that will allow for eventual freedom from social services. This is accomplished through evaluation, employment counseling and comprehensive support services.
